The Ballad of Elvis

Elvis was the only dog that didn't find a home during Anti-Cruelty's signature adoption event, Fall in Love. His heartbreaking story ended up in The Washington Post, NPR, People Magazine, and many more news outlets across the nation.

Thankfully, this story had a happy ending when his future adopters saw the pup on the news and knew it was fate. One of his adopters was even a former Elvis impersonator!

Finally, Elvis had left the building.

An Amazon Partnership

At Anti-Cruelty, I played a key role in securing a valuable partnership with Amazon for an adoption campaign rollout. In addition to brainstorming the campaign’s name, "Kindness Delivered," I helped secured a feature on WGN’s morning broadcast, assisting in media outreach and coordination to spotlight our work and amplify our mission.

This successful partnership bolstered Anti-Cruelty’s presence in Chicago and beyond by aligning with a globally recognized brand. By cultivating strategic relationships, crafting compelling branding, and executing impactful media campaigns, I helped elevate our organization’s credibility and reach, demonstrating the power of media-driven storytelling in furthering our mission.

So, what were the results?

We achieved significant media coverage, boosting brand awareness and supporting a good cause. "Amazon: Kindness Delivered" received coverage on WGN, Yahoo.com, MSN, as well as several local Chicago network affiliates.
